Anyway, I tried to use a Kalyway disc a while ago, and couldn't get through the installation. About a month ago, I tried an iAtkos disc, got it to install, but could not get the PC to boot into the OS. It would just hang after the BIOS screen...

I've tried searching forums, and looked at compatibility lists, but haven't really found anything conclusive to try, so I thought I'd try asking the experts for some advice. Any suggestions?

Did you try using cpus=1 -v -f?

I know this is an mold thread but I also have an hp m7060n. I installed iDeben 1.4 10.5.6 and it works, but their are fan issues. My fan doesn't really start it tries to and stops and tries again and stops, and again, and again, and again, like a flickering light. This flickering fan thing has got me wondering if you have installed OSX and if you have a solution for the problem.
