i never had this problem before
i have my comp to dual boot os x and vista. the problem only happens when i boot in to os x. if i try to do anything that involves entering info like a command prompt or typing in to an address bar as soon as i click the window to start typing an infinite list of 7's type them selves even if i havent even touched my keyboard.
if i disconnect my keyboard entirely it still does the same tihng but im not sure where to even start looking or erasing things to find the problem.

hmmm ill check the bios now but i think it might have happened on a reinstall of os x. i would try another keyboard but im afraid i dont have another to try with, best i can do is try and boot without the keyboard but then i cant move the arrow keys up and down to choose to boot os x
