    Excellent work.
    This seems to work...
Except at "about a minute" left on "Installing" I get a kernel panic.

Any ideas on what is going on?
I used the SATA drive...should I have used the IDE?

Like I posted in the other thread Im new to this so maybe I'm overlooking something simple.
I have tried a few different distros...could it be I need to totally wipe the drive?

I'll wipe everything, try again and report back.

I 'think' I may have located the source of my problem.

2 days ago I installed a OSX-specific BIOS for my Badaxe2 MB and forgot to up the voltage for the RAM. After doing that things started to work woops

I reinstalled without problems, but after downloading the updates I can not boot without -x

Im not sure what Kexts to get, or even how to install them. Im guessing DSMOS is one, but there is Appledecrypter which i hear is the same only better but have had no luck finding it, and I read I should disable a kext, but how to do that????

Im so new to this, and things seem so "coded" when I read the how to's... at this point Im about ready to give up

Try with a SATA or USB DVD, or try to burn your ISO again

@ Bushido You need at least 2 kexts to boot OS X successfully.

    DSMOS or AppleDecrypt, and IntelCPUPMDisabler.kext...

@ EnVme Re-burn the disc at the slooooooowest speed possible, and your problem will be solved.

    Bushido, please post spec's.

    Success, sort of...

Got Leopard up and running...almost a perfect install

    -Installed NVinject (7600GT) and dsmos
    -Removed IntelCPUPowerManagement

Patched sound and all appears to work smooth. Sleep, shutdown, QE/CI and running very fast.

I tried to update to 10.5.5 via package download, got kernel panic about %70 through, and could not boot back into Leo - even in safe mode.
It might have something to do with Chameleon and not the updates though. I had a tough time trying to get Chameleon working. I ended up installing it on the OS partition, another partition and a USB thumb drive. Im not real sure where it is suppose to go...I need to read more. I partitioned a 1Gb space for it if I need it this time. For those with a BadAxe2 MB the latest OSX86 Tools (build 150) will not install Chameleon correctly. You need build 149 which will work right

    So Im re-installing
