    Default Distro Suggestion for Hp Pavilion dv9000

    I had this custom built here are the specs:

    HP dv9750 CTO laptop

    *Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 @ 2.50GHz
    *4.00GB RAM
    *2 FUJITSU MHW2120BJ G1's 120GB 7,400 RPM SATA HDDs
    *Realtek High Definition Audio sound card (Audio Codec: ALC268 Driver: 6.0.1.5708)
    *Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN
    *NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS
    *Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad
    *Toshiba DVDW/HD SD-L802B


    I'm looking for someone to help point me in the right direction for turning this into a Hackintosh dual boot so I can still use Vista(don't ask why lol)

    I've read several wiki entries and have poked my nose around this site and insanelymac, so I'm slighty adversed of the scope of what I'm wanting to do. Any and all help would be great and I thank you in advance.

    Looks nice, did you check in the HCL? try with iPC or iDeneb, maybe you will have problems with the wifi, but everything else looks nice, try and report back your progress
