CPU: AMD Sempron-64 3000+
RAM: PQI 1GB DDR400
Video: Sapphire Radeon 9600 Pro AGPx8
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 200GB SATA

Which distro is good for the configuration and with what options?

I'd try iPC 10.5.6 PPF5 Final if it were me. Far as what options you need, you might want to start doing some reading on this forum and others like it.

You need to find out what processor you got, what video card/chipset you have, what chipset you have for a southbridge...just a lot of variables here that is hard to just pinpoint for you.

You might as well be ready to try installing it more than once until you get it working correctly. Be ready to experiment on the kernel you use too, I'd suggest you try VooDoo 9.5.0 if it's on that distro. There are others that work but that is one you might wanna try first.

Do some reading because nobody can just tell you the magical combination of what to select to get you going right off the bat, it's trial and error.
