Eh, AMD lappys are a pain in the arse, check if your video card is supported in the HCL and try, good luck ;D

Unfortunately it is my only machine. This is the second time I wish I'd gone for the Intel. Linux branches support the Intel wireless out of the box but not the broadcom drivers that I have. I see that Mac OS X doesn't seem to support the Intel wireless though, or the Broadcom one in my PC from what I can tell.

I've been having serious problems with my laptop lately, have not responding freezes on a month old vista install. Granted it's mostly with Firefox 3.5.2 but some with Google Chrome as well.
Plus I get bored and like to change things up from time to time. Without wireless though I'd have to find to get it to dual boot with Windows.
I'm downloading iAtkos_v7 right now, should that one be good to try or should I be trying another one? I'm 50% done with a day left to download on it.
Ok, so I downloaded iAtkos_v7 and burned it to disk. Booted it up and of course it couldn't see my hard drive. I pulled out my Ipod Nano 3rd generation I think, and installed it to there. It would not boot into OS X on restart. My bios is set to usb drives and usb thumb drives. I find something saying that only the first gen of nano will work for that. Ok, fine. I go get my xbox 360 and pull out the 60 gig hard drive and put it into a sata to usb adapter.
I format it in windows, boot from osx disk. It shows the hard drive, format, install restart. It boots back to windows, won't boot from external drive. Take out the windows hard drive and install the new OS X one. Chameleon starts up and starts loading. End up with "Still waiting for Root Device" message. Put in the install disk, click upgrade and tell it to install all the sata drivers on the disk. First one at a time but couldn't figure out how to uninstall the old ones, then got tired of the installer taking 20 minutes to check the disk each time and installed them all. Still no luck, won't go past root device message.
I tried all the boot commands I could find listed for fixing the problem with no luck. Not sure what to try next.
I installed to an external hard drive this time. I booted in verbose mode and it'd scroll a lot of code, went to a black screen and then rebooted with no text, no warning. Did this several times. Now what?
