Default Same Question for Dell Dimension 8400

I have the following computer collecting dust at my house. I also have a SONY Vaio I can cannibalize for parts. I now normally use Apple computers, but I'd like one more machine with OS X on it.

BTW, I have a legal unused copy of OS X. I'd like to install it on this computer.

I also have a couple of older graphics cards that might work if this one won't. One is an old Diamond Stealth, the other is newer--an GeForce FX 5200 graphics card w/128MB that came in a Sony PCV-R44G. I also have one newer video card that support 1600x1200 resolution presently installed in the Sony. I am not sure what it is. I think it is an Nvidia chipset it would be 256MB of memory and something higher than the 5200 card. Finally, I probably have a few 100BaseT ethernet cards laying around with Realtec chipsets-if I haven't tossed them out.

    Here is my computer specs.

    Dell Dimension 8400 Computer

    Pentium 4 540 3.2GHz, 2GB RAM, 2 x 500GB HDD,
    Processor/Mainboard

    Storage
    Floppy drive type (dead)
    2x 500 GB - Standard - Serial ATA-150 - 7200 rpm (RAID 0)
    Optical Storage
CD / DVD read speed 48x
    DVD/RW, SONY
    Graphics Controller
ATI Radeon X300 SE, PCI Express x16, with 128 MB DDR SDRAM
Digital Visual Interface (DVI), VGA interface, S-Video Out. Max 2 Monitors

Looks nice, try to disable HT Feature in the BIOS, then try to install iPC or iDeneb there, you need a patched kernel tho, like Voodoo or Speedstep.
