Me too!
I just bought a Dell Studio 1537 recently for music production, only to find out that this model has a very nasty fault that makes it unusable for music production. The issue is related to the configuration of the hardware and Windows drivers (all versions), so I'm really hoping that the Mac OS will avoid my laptop becoming a giant door-stop.
I'm completely new to this site and will start reading through all the material but in the mean time, if anyone knows anything about putting Leopard on a Dell Studio 1537 (like if it will work), I would be very grateful for any info they could provide me with.

Hey, I'm into music and 2 days ago bought one Dell Studio 1537 Core2Duo T6400 and, surprisingly, I found a serious obstacle in Win XP (don't like Vista) - there is not a driver that supports hi-def audio. It this the "issue" that you are talking about? I also found (through different forums) that in Vista most of the audio problems are eliminated.
All I need to know is one thing - is it because of faulty hardware or crappy software? (I hope for the last one!)
p.s. I also have an HP Pavilion DV2000, which has the best external speakers ever (I'm not that impressed by the speakers on my new Dell).
Regards
