Dell M6300, which distro?
I have a Dell Precision M6300, and would like to install OSX on it. This would be my first time trying something like this. Did a google search & found out that someone had tried this before using iPC 10.5.6. I tried that and when it didn't work for me, I also tried iAKTOS 10.6.3/4 and got stuck again on before the installation screen, where it states the system uptime in nanoseconds. I believe that was a kernal panic, but am not sure.
The laptop has:
- Intel Core 2 Duo T7250
- Nvidia Quadro FX1600M
- 2GB of RAM

Make sure that your S3 is the version 2 as it has updated/modified kexts/fixes particularly for Intel 965 chipsets.

As far as I know, I'm using iATKOS S3 v2.0, but still get the same results. Do I have to change anything in the BIOS?
Edit: About to try a different version [iAtkos S3 10.6.3 Ver.2 (only Intel)] and will post the results.

Alright, I tried using iAktos S3 V2 10.6.3 & managed to install successfully, but failed to boot up into the OS. Got to the apple screen and got a message telling me the computer needs to be restarted by holding down the power button. Upon restart, got the same message again.
Then I found this page, where someone managed to dual boot 10.5.6. Can the guide be used on iAktos S3 V2 10.6.3 Distro?
