Default Can I install OS X 10.6 or above on Toshiba Satellite A665-S5177X?

I was considering purchasing this computer for school but I would also like to be able to develop iphone apps on it as well, I was wondering if I could dual boot Snow Leopard or higher or boot it in VMware Workstation. Processor: 2.3 hertz Intel Core i5
    RAM: 4 GB
    Memory Slots: 2
    Hard Drive

Why not just buy a real Macbook that is used? My guess would be that you could install Leopard on this, I don't know about Snow though. I'd say the processor was supported, the ram ain't an issue nor anything else listed.

What's important is whether it's Intel or AMD, the other hardware that is onboard such as the LAN and bluetooth and all that crap. That's where you'll run into problems, cause if you don't know all that stuff then you aren't gonna know which Kext to select once an install is started. Without buying it, you won't know that stuff either, I don't think. Searching this forum and other forums for your type laptop will help you a lot though. Sadly, without you having full product details, it'll be hard for anyone to just tell you yes or no. Not trying to be an ass either... just trying to help.
