I've reworked geohot's blacksn0w to work with iPhone OS 3.1.3 (3G only). It works beautifully with BB 5.11.07. You can download it from here:

FYI.. FOR 3G, DO NOT INSTALL iPhone OS 3.1.3 DIRECTLY USING iTunes!!!

To install iPhone OS 3.1.3 in your 3G, use sn0wbreeze v1.5.2 and add this blacksn0w update. Then install the modified firmware using iTunes to update your device. Works beautifully.

Tested on Baseband version 5.11.07. If you've accidentally upgraded your BB to 5.12.xx, you need to downgrade it to 5.11.07 before you can use this update. Might not work on older BB versions.

You do realise that someone else has already done this? Their approach looks a lot better from a testing perspective.
