Hi,

After unlocking my 3G (running 3.1.2) with blackrain+snow, I have the following problem when tethering:

Tethering works for about a minute, then my signal falls to 0 bars, the 3G icon disappears, and "No signal" appears. A few seconds later, the signal comes back and tethering re-establishes itself. This loops continuously, as long as I'm trying to access data. If I leave the connection alone, it's fine, lol.

The behavior is the same whether I'm tethering with USB or Bluetooth. Installing the mobileconfig from help.benm.at didn't make any difference.

Restoring to my pre-blackrain backup makes tethering work fine, so it's definitely not a 3.1.2 or Rogers issue.

Any advice? I'm hoping to take my unlocked phone abroad soon, and really want to be able to tether.

It is more or less instability issues with blackra1n. Try restoring your iphone again and run blackra1n. Install Snow only and see if that works well.
