Question Problems whith 3gs after unlocking whith blacksn0w via cydia (3.1.2)

    Hi all.
I have some very interesting problems whith my Iphone 3gs fm 3.1.2 after unlocking 5.11 baseband whith blacksn0w via cydia.

    1. the phone boots up about 45s (whith old 3.0 and when there is not intalled blacsn0w (jus jailbraked whith custom firmware) phone boots up in 20-23s)
    2. sometimes i got no wi-fi, but there is way to have it by reseting network settings.
    3. battery drains very fast (21% per 8hours) on stand-by mode(no push notificasions are on, no wi-fi, no gps on and no bluetooth are on - everything is off that can drain battery)
4.I cant use my operator 3g networking, because the phone cant find it signal exept edge and gsm.

if there are some solutions how to fix 1, 3, 4 problems and have network signal, please write them.
    Thanks!

Default I have the same problems...my solutions

I have all 3 of the same issues as you (don't have a problem with wifi). Below are the sure fire solutions to all 3 issues:

    1) wait 15 more seconds for the boot process.

    3) bring my charger cord with me every where I go. I guarantee that am never within 15-20 ft from an outlet that can "give me more juice!".

    4) Not sure what network you are on. I am on t-mobile USA. The 3g network is on a different radio frequency from he one that the iPhone uses. My solution is to use the edge network.

    Happy iphoning!!!

Ok, so ass i see, we have to wait for another relese of blacksn0w, or somehow go back to 3.0 firmware...

I used BR/BS and don't really have these issues.

Well, for #1, JB/UL phones always take longer to boot up. I find it normal.

For #3, I don't have any noticeable issues with battery other than being JB'd lets you run more apps, and I background some. So, of course it'll use more battery than stock.

For #4, what network you on? I dont' have any issues with 3G. And yes, if you are on TMobile in US, it wont work with their 3G network -diff frequencies.

But after blackra1n i have had no gps, no youtube, no googlemaps, no appstore issues.
and after blacksn0w i got long boot up time.
i am on bite LT network in Vilnius, Lithunia. whith 3.0 and ultrasnow i have had 3g good reception, and now i have no 3g.
P.S. everything is ok whith pwnaged 3.1.2 firmware while i do not instal blacksn0w. (BTW, have tried diferent network sim card and have had the same issue whith 3g reception.)
thanks for reading and trying to help me

there is a photo of my battery statistics.
look at usage, stand by, and battery precentage.
    its not normal at all...

If I were you I would restore back to 3.1.2 to get a clean start. Then BR/BS and activate with iTunes this time as a new phone (do not use a back up of your stored settings, etc). You could find that the excessive battery usage was some setting from an old app.
I had to do this with my partner's iPhone 3G after trying to get internet tethering to work by adding mobile substrate and some other stuff from Cydia which had an obvious conflict and was screwing up battery and 3G.
Best of luck, and hope this works as well for you as it did for me.
Once you have it all working and unlocked you can then set up all your itunes settings and sync your music, etc back to the iPhone. Note that 'notes' might lose all the information so I would write anything down that you want to put back into this application!

PS if you ahve not already done this, make sure you have synced your contacts and calendar with MS Outlook (or the Mac equivalent if that is your OS)before you start or you will lose the lot.

If you are using hacktivation, have you properly enabled and then disabled again push notifications?

I have a 2G iPhone that is hacktivated and can get 10+ days standby running OS 3.1.2, it gets very light usage (I have a 3GS as my primary phone)
Please read the stickies & search forum before posting!
