Unhappy Problem with Unlocking 3G Bootloader 5.9

Hey guys I have a problem with my 3G.
I wanna unlock it but I'm not able to do this the easy way by using ultrasn0w or yellowsn0w. I downloaded Fuzzyband 2 check out my Bootloader and Baseband. I found out following information:
    Bootloader: 05.09[G2M3S2]
    Baseband: ICE2-05.12.01
IPhone os: downgraded from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2

What can I do? I'm getting hopeless if you can't help.

You can't do anything. Fuzzyband does not support your baseband bootloader.

There is no downgrade ever for your phone.

Right now there is no unlock for 05.12.01, there will eventually come an unlock for 05.12.01 or a higher baseband. Wait for OS 3.2 to be released (hopefully soon)

    Hi to all,
I've got exactly the same problem with this deadly combo 05.09 and 05.12.01. I also downgraded from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 but to no avail. Downgrading DOES NOT change the bootloader version simply because said bootloader is HARDWARE, not software. Facit: as we speak, there is NO available unlock software for 05.09. All current unlock solutions are intended for 05.08 or, better, 05.11.07. Looks like there is nothing we can do until end of this month when, presumably, the new unlock software comes out which will be compatible with 05.09 bootloader.

    Just to be clear:

Baseband Bootloader: version number in the format 05.08 or 05.09 or 06.04 - this initialises the baseband cpu and validates then loads the baseband firmware before transferring control to the baseband OS. The baseband bootloader can't be downgraded via software on 3G or 3GS. Only baseband bootloader 05.08 has a bug that allows baseband firmware downgrades. This was shipped with iPhones that were made before or in week 28 of 2008.

The baseband bootloader can be in theory upgraded via an OS update but it really has not happened because the risk of bricking people's iPhones is too high. So everyone has the version of baseband bootloader their iPhone shipped with (except 2G iPhones where it is possible to reload the baseband bootloader)

Baseband Firmware: updated quite often (both with major and minor OS releases) - the baseband firmware is the actual OS for the baseband CPU. On 3G and 3GS the baseband bootloader enforces the rule that it is only possible to upgrade the baseband not downgrade. version numbers like 05.11.07 or 04.26.08.

Never just use the term bootloader as there are actually two bootloaders on the iPhone so it is important to always say baseband bootloader if that is what you are talking about.

Regardless. This thread is going nowhere. 05.12.01 can't be unofficially unlocked right now. No unlock is expected till June/July.

If the carrier offers official unlock, then that is an option or you can use the iPhone with a SIM from the original carrier.
