Try this... [cmdshft] / Boot your iPhone 2G/3G/3GS in verbose mode but skip this step/lineIf that does not work... then you need to get on IRC and try to get some help on #iPhone.Code:bspatch iBoot.yXXap.RELEASE.img3 iBoot.yXXap.RELEASE.img3.NEW iBoot.yXXap.RELEASE.patch
@Olethros,
I have no idea what this user is doing.
He got stuck at the boot logo and he proceeded to restore with fw 3.1.3.
This is crazy stuff here.
I'm not so sure of the state of this iphone 3GS.
Anyway, someone had a similar issue yesterday (from Brazil). We tried to help him but he is not familiar with computer and etc ... so it was almost impossible to help him.
This is what the user can try:
- extract the stock firmware file and look for the iBEC.xx.xx.dfu file
- use iRecovery -f <iBEC.xx.xx.xx.dfu> to send file to the phone
- iRecovery -s and type go
this will put the phone in restore mode and hopefully he can initiate a restore.
Since this is a 3gs, he will not be able to restore 3.1.2 without the ecid/shsh. If this is the case, the option to restore at this point is only 3.1.3 hence the phone will be locked and unactivated.
my friend, nothing worked, or verbose mode, nor iRecovery-f with the file. DFU of official firmware 3.1.2 and 3.1.3, you do not know a way to burn this damn iphone? Maybe putting a greater burden on him or something goes like? placing a magnet .. I do not know what to do: (
I'm sure this is hardware problem, because all solutions via software I already tried.
Any new thing on the thread?
Having the same problem over here, with iPhone 3g Os 3.1.2.
no iphone continue dead :(
I didnt think so, because I've tried any possible way to make it alive, but no luck.
