    i am on OS 3.1.2 and my baseband is 04.26.08...
    how do i unlock please help !!! how do i change to baseband 05.11.07???

    Please try Ultrasn0w from Cydia to unlock. That should work fine for you.

    You really do not want to upgrade to baseband 05.11.07, it offers no real benefits and there is no way to downgrade again.

    I agree, don't change your baseband to 05.11.07.
    Keep you phone on the pwnage train and continue to use 04.26.08 and use ultrasn0w 0.9.2 to unlock. Note: version 0.9.2 of ultrasn0w corrected the carrier display issue.
