I dont know if this a feature or bug, but on my 2G iPhone with 3.1 on it (jailbreak and unlocked) when I open SMS and type something w/o sending and close the SMS app and re open it then the text is still there same with Notes but on my 3GS iPhone with 3.1.2 jailbreak with Blacksn0w and unlocked with Blackra1n this is not happening, when I open SMS and type some text, close the app and reopen it the text is gone same with Notes. Is there any solution to it?
Besides that everything works fine, but this is annoying cos i lost some text and numbers I was typing.

I did fix User Dir Permissions with SBSettings but nothing.

does anyone else have this problem or just me?
Is it 3.1.2 problem maybe?
