iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone after black ra1n/sn0w jailbreak/unlock
Hey guys, I just recently updated my 3g iPhone to 3.1.2, jailbroke it with blackra1n, and unlocked it with blacksn0w. However, when I connect it to my iTunes (9.0.2), it says "iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone..." so it forces me to do a restore to go back to factory settings. So I did that, rejailbroke and unlocked and it still failed to be read on itunes. Can anyone help me? Thank you!
Windows 7
iphone 3g
3.1.2
jailbroken with blackra1n
unlocked with blacksn0w
itunes 9.0.2
Tried connecting to 3 different computers already and still can't be read.
Edit-
Fixed! I downloaded terminal from cydia and used this command
rm -r /var/mobile/Media
rebooted my computer and was able to sync to iTunes.
Special thanks to "cerote" for his very generous help!

"iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone"
Found an easier way! just download and install i-funbox i-FunBox | iPhone File Manager plus Hi-Speed Transfer Tool - Also iPad File Manager, iPad Browser or iPad Explorer. Connect your iPhone, Go and find “iTunesDB” using i-funbox and delete it, Open iTunes on your PC\Mac and Walla!!! You’re back to Syncing and no more Messages! Enjoy
