    Yes iTunes versions up to latest 9.0.2 are perfectly safe. They have no impact on jailbreak or unlock.

    after geohot screen and reboot...i cannot find blacksnow app in springborad...what am i doing wrong here???iphone 3g...

    It's actually a blackra1n.app you should be looking for. That has an option to install blacksn0w

    Were you jailbroken already before you ran blacksn0w? Do you have Cydia on your iPhone? Blacksn0w can be now installed from Cydia as well. Add blackweather as repo.

    If all else fails try restoring to a stock apple 3.1.2 and installing blackra1n RC3 again.

    Are you using it from a full restore? If not - try this (caution *I HAVE NOT DONE THIS ON MY 3G YET - BUT HAVE ONLY DONE THIS ON MY 3GS*)....

    Connect to iTunes....

    Do a "restore"....

    After the restore (before iTunes tries to "restore from "a backup") - run Blackra1n from your PC/Mac...

    After the next iPhone reboot - look for the icon - and run it...??

    yes, my youtube on the 3G cannot connect to utube, Im using wifi

    looking forward to a fix..

    I had that situation, on a phone that was previously blackra1ned, that I had removed the blackra1n icon on. I restored to stock apple 3.1.2 and reinstalled blackra1n, and it works, the icon shows on the phone, cydia can be added, etc

    currently I am unable to add blackweather.com it fails with an error type2, so does blackra1n.com though it does actually get added, and blacksn0w IS available on cydia now.
