Frozen Unlocked IPhone 3G!.
Hi All,
I have a 3G Iphone unlocked and I recently tried upgrading it with the iOS 4 using iTunes.
Unaware of the rule NOT to upgrade or downgrade a unlocked iPhones, I have now frozen my phone and it will neither restore like the option from iTunes or neither will it upgrade but remains in recovery mode.
Anybody please help me bring my PHONE back to life.
Thanks & Regards,
Nawang.

Please read the links in my signature regarding both SHSH and how to properly report a restore failure, then follow the instructions to publish a restore log for us -- we unfortunately can't help with just the information provided.

Hi,
Thanks for the link it sure was helpful and made me ask more specific questions.
Well mine is a unlocked IPhone 3G and i do not remember the firmware that it was installed with. I just recently tried upgrading it to IOS version 5.0.1 using the latest Itunes. well now the issue is that my iphone has gone to recovery mode while in the process of upgrading and while trying to resotre it shows error: 1105. Please Help.
thanks & regards.

Re-read the "Restore Problems" link, specifically the part about uploading restore logs, then dig up your log and post it to pastebin and link us to it so we can read it. Without a restore log, there's really nothing we can do to help. The error number is unfortunately really not helpful.
