Hi all, I'm new in this forum.

I bought an iPhone 3GS 32GB one week ago at the full price (I'm insaneee i know) and then I bought an O2 sim card.
I think it's very expensive for what it offers so I'd like to know if is possible to jailbreak it. These are the specifics:

Carrier O2 5.0
Version 3.1.2 (7D11)
Model: MC133B
Modem Firmware: 05.11.07

P.s. I don't know where to start, I read somewhere that mc133b cannot be hacked, but I don't know if it's true and I don't have experience in jailbreak so pls help.

Do you mean you purchased a factory unlocked iPhone? I did not think these were sold in the UK.

This post will help you identify if you can achieve an untetherd jailbreak or if you are limited to a tethered jailbreak. PwnageTool 3.1.4 for Mac OS X That is a great way to start.
