I was so happy to have blacksn0w rc2 because I was getting the continuous loop problem very often. Finally there was a solution to this problem, so I wouldn't need to worry about it anymore.

But after I installed rc2, I noticed a fast battery drain in my phone. My battery life almost dropped to 60% of what it had before.

Anybody experiencing the same problem? If yes, any solutions out there for this?Maybe we should wait for rc3 which takes care of the issue, maybe its just me having the problem. But I am pretty sure it is not me only. My battery life changed in one day and it only happened after installing rc2.

this is the first time i've heard of a battery drain issue associated with blacksn0w rc2 final. This version of blacksn0w has a minor patch and SHOULD NOT have affected battery in any way.
Something else on your phone is causing battery issue.

RC2 changes only when blackra1n is loaded (later in the startup) I really don't think that this would cause extra battery drain.

I don't know, it's weird, I seriously started suffering from battery life as soon as I uninstalled blacksn0w and installed blacksn0w rc2. I searched little bit and saw that there are other people experiencing the same problem. Maybe not here though.
