    Default Accidental Upgrade

So my jailbroken 3GS got accidentally upgraded due to a fresh install of iTunes, which I wasnt aware off. I do have SHSH saved by Cydia, baseband is 05.11.07 I belive.

In short, is there any way to unlock this now? If not, is it possible to restore and wipe the jailbreak from the phone? Then I could send it back to Apple..

EDT: Is there any possibility of downgrading back to 3.1.2?

Are you sure the baseband is: 05.11.07, the baseband with 3.1.3 is 05.12.01
What SHSH do you have backed up Cydia? You can find this out with The Firmware Umbrella you need a 3.1.2 SHSH or lower to downgrade.

No I'm not sure. But I assume I was wrong and you are right, if the baseband upgrades with the upgrade itself.
I should have a 3.1.2 SHSH. It was backed up when I used 3.1.2 and 05.11.07, about 2 months ago. I'll read this site more carefully now, but I just gave you what I know atm, maybe you will know what it is.

But assuming it is, what is my next step?

Thank you Olethros, this isnt the first time you have helped me.

Depends on where you saved your SHSH - if you saved it on Cydia - then it does not matter.

If you saved it with firmware umbrella, then it was saved as a file on your other laptop. If this is the case, you need to wait until you are in front of your other laptop.

What are you talking about? This thread is mostly about SHSH and downgrading.

Push is related to activation and even hacktivated users can get a free push certificate - details in this thread

    Stay on topic please.

I'm sorry to be a bore with this, but here is a update on my situation.

I followed all the instructions on iClarified's site. I connect the iPhone to the computer, put it in DFU mode. I get a message saying iTunes needs to check the software with Apple, only pressing "check" will make it go away. This takes about 1 sec and then I get the restore option. Anyway you know the procedure from here. The only thing is, supposedly a error message should appear after the restore. This does not happen here. Instead it just says SIM locked.

Any ideas as to what this might be?

I also saw some custom unlocked firmware. Is this something to consider?

Thank you for all your help.

Have you jailbroken again after the downgrade?
Don't worry about the "verifying iPhone" part too much.
