This is probably a stupid one, but when you dl a SMS sound and it goes into winterboard is it as easy as clicking it and your sound will work? Or is it something I need to figure out in ssh? I clicked the sound I wanted and winterboard reloaded as usual when I change something but when I get a text it's still my original tone... What am I doing wrong? I'm a noob

go to settings then sounds and select one, of the list of I think 6 tones, for messages and 1 of these should be the one you are after.

I went through all of them and nothing, but I did get two tones at once. One tone was my ui and the other the tone I got from cydia. Now I didn't, let me remind you, I didn't go through ssh and set up a custom tone. I dl it from cydia and just checked it in winterboard. But it does work.

Well I got it to work.. I guess after you switch the files in ssh you have to go into winterboard and turn off your uisounds.
