I think my problem is an individual one because the store I have bought it from changed it for me free of charge I'm not newbie and now that the factory unlocked is unlocked but I think I was the first one experienced the problem now I have another one with the same model number which didn't need the black snow too be unlocked

You mean the store changed it to you to factory unlocked? or did it just activate on ur SIM? and by store can you be more specific like location/country?

If it is factory unlocked then just put the SIM and iTunes will activate it.
