I don't exactly understand what you mean. It could be that you have two problems (no wifi and the rock.app causes the iPhone to shutdown)

ok, listen this.my wifi isnt working but gps and bluetooth are working.i dont know wtf is happening.it just died while watching youtube.i tryed everything, reset network settings , wififofum.btw i never tryed with fresh installed firmware because i need to blackra1n in order to use (i dont have valid sim card, im using unlock solution)

Okay, my problem was slightly different:

Phone crashed yesterday, blackra1n apllied after reboot got stuck @geo's face.
Multiple reboots, attempts to reinstall 3.1.2 via redsn0w.

Sometimes it rebooted "fine" (after i pulled the USB) but behaved very slowly/froze when i entered my PIN code.

Let the battery drain, connected to USB.
Red "Charging..." Screen appeared.
Let it sit for a few min, then fired up blackra1n and hit "let it ra1n"

A couple of minutes later Geo was back, it booted fine (with USB plugged in) and behaved normally. I could enter the PIN and got a functional 3GS 32gb (3.1.2, "newer" bootrom) back.

PS: Ran all of it on a Mac, newest OSX.

Okay, problem persists after serveral "cold" reboot with empty battery.
Phone dies after 1-5h... gets laggy and then is out of net.

Any ideas?

Should i try using "erase all settings" and then reinstall cydia via redsn0w?

Any hints?
Might the unlock be the problem?
May uninstall ultrasn0w from cydia??

I doubt it is ultrasn0w but you can try uninstalling it.

I would instead try reloading your baseband. There is a thread where I explain how to do this - but you likely need to adapt it to your needs.

Uninstalled Ultrasn0w yesterday, reinstalled today... sofar running fine for 8h.

My iPhone 3GS has this issue. However, I'm still on fw 3.1.2 and my SHSH is stored with Cydia. Is it safe for me to simply do a complete restore to my saved 3.1.2 firmware? Is option #2 only if I do not want to erase the contents of my phone?

Yes it is fine for you to do a restore with SHSH from Cydia. See Hack that Phone - iPhone 3G S: Restoring "forbidden" firmware for details on how to do this with TinyTSS/Firmware Umbrella.

Once you have restored, use ultrasn0w 0.9.3 instead of blacksn0w - much more stable.

Hey guys, I have 3.1.2 with the new bootrom 359.3.2. After updating apps from Cydia I have to reset the Network Settings as I lost my WI-FI and after that it goes to a reboot loop. I tried to follow the instruction FIX#2 I can run blackra1n but when my Iphone reboots to restore mode Blackrain crashes, hence I can't drain my Iphone battery. I want to ask which version of Itunes should I use or is there other way to drain my battery without launching blackrain? Please help.
