    Default Question: Blackrain and iTunes 9.1

    hi,
    I am about to reinstall SL on my macbook pro (it's been sluggish long enough now...) but I'm afraid I end up with latest iTunes. I have an j-b iphone which need to be kickstarted by blackrain and I heard somewhere (Can't remember where) that blackrain will not work with iTunes 9.1. Or was that only for iTunes on Windows?
    Iphone 3GS 32Gb: Blackra1n -> fully working Tethered though -> 4.1 -> redsn0w -> 4.3.1

    1st Gen iPhone 8Gb: W51 1.1.2. OTB -> restore 1.1.4 -> iplus -u -> restore 2.2 -> quickpwn(win) -> restore 2.2.1 -> quickpwn(win) -> restore 3.0 -> Redsn0w(mac) -> restore 3.1.3 -> PwnTool 3.1.5

    iPad 2 16Gb wifi -> 4.3.1

    Macbook Pro 15" unibody 2.8GHz "late 2008"

    I'm to understand that 9.1 changes a few things in the Mobile Device Support Libraries for windows that block the jailbreak installation -- however, that's all hearsay from a few sources. I haven't jailbroken a device since 9.1 came out.

    All I can really confirm is that unlike reports, 9.1 didn't stop me from syncing and I'm jailbroken -- some people were saying it had impacted syncing.. Doesn't seem to have.

    Blackra1n does not work with iTunes 9.1 on windows, geohot was lazy and hard-coded references (surprise)

    Blackra1n still works fine on mac even with iTunes 9.1
