Oh no, I wish I could do this but I needed push so bad that I took the dive and restored to 4.1 last night. (I underestimated how useless an iphone is without notifications) After doing that I let it activate with my original sim card (even though it doesn't have service) jailbroke with greenpois0n instead of limera1n and it works great.
Sadly, I lost my unlock, but I read on twitter that preliminary 4.1 unlocks were going fine, however they wouldn't be released until 4.2 comes out. so that's good news.
{edit} actually I remembered one interesting thing, when I ssh'd into the phone before I restored I noticed there was no Lockdown folder inside var/root/Library.
