Upgraded my iPhone 3G to 3Gs yesterday .. wOOt for me!
Anyway .. i jailbroke it using Blackra1n RC3 and my battery is running down
really fast .. is there a problem with RC3 as i redid my old 3G with RC3 (cos im
selling it on to someone ..) and i could tell that battery was draining fast too ...
is there anything i could do ...
Ive been off the Scene a few months as i was happy with my old jailbroken 3G
soo.. Is it worth redoing it with Redsn0w ..??

What do you mean by a clean install? Did you restore to OS 3.1.2, set up the iPhone as new and then jailbreak straight away with blackra1n?
Sorry, with us being in the Blackra1n section, id assume u would
have guessed id used itunes to get to 3.1.2 then used Blackra1n to unlock..
and i meant by clean install by, .. i had a backup of my old 3G iphone on itunes but didnt use it, i started fresh ...
and im on a monthly contract with o2 if that makes a differance ..

If you activated legitimately, set up iPhone as new then these are two of the biggest reasons for poor battery life.Quote:
