i have an ipod touch and i attempted to restore it to a fresh 3.1.2 firmware so that i can rejailbreak with Spirit for an Untethered Jailbreak and after Itunes told me this build is not for my Ipod. I can no longer boot into my ipod i just getting

The Logo for you to plug your ipod into Intunes and i cant restore, recover, or anything. I am stuck and need help


Please come one help me get my ipod back up and running on IOS 4 and below please if possible if not ill take anything i can get.

well i got some good news, after reading and reading and reading over 1000 post about blackrain and ipod touch and jailbreak i went ahead and preformed couple of the options i read and i found one that actually worked.

all i did was to drain out the battery and i left the ipod sitting for over 2 weeks on the side and after that i started to restore it and finally one of the last attempt to restore it, the ipod came back to life and is finally working on 3.1.2 and i even got it jailbreaked. time to update and restore my ipod to its 58GB music collection
