HELP! Vista not recognizing iPhone
Hello all.
I have a iPhone 3GS running 3.1.2fw with the new bootloader.
Because ofthe new bootloader, I have used the tethered jailbreak with Blackra1n, and need to run the blackra1n application each time to boot my phone up.
Anyways, due to a security breach, I recently reinstalled my OS, Windows Vista.
Since doing so, the system is not recognising the iPhone in recovery and is asking me for a driver. I have tried selecting the option to install automatically where it searches windows update, but it never finds or installs a driver.
Because of this I cannot use Blackra1n to start up my iPhone using my PC.
Its not too big a deal as I have another windows pc and a macbookpro I can use but it is real inconvenient.
Does anyone have, or know where I can download the drivers so I can install manually?
Thanks in advance.
Kevin

You do have iTunes 9.0.2 on your "new" PC, right?

Just an update.
I have spoken with my little brother about the phone. He tells me that right after the OS install, he plugged the iPhone into USB to use Blackra1n to kick it out. Once he saw the driver installing icon, he yanked the usb out and plugged it into the MacbookPro instead.
I'm pretty sure that this is the reason for my troubles.
Any help is much appreciated. I would hate to have to reinstall windows all over again lol
