Help! Infinite loop apple logo and need to save SMS

Hi, yesterday my iphone 3GS (3.1.3) stopped working and now when i reboot it cant go over the apple logo. It gets stuck in that place.

I need to save the SMS file before i restore and i would like to know if there is any way to get access to the sms file before restoring.

I have tried these things to get rid of the infinite loop:

Installing blackrain again: when the iphone should reboot it gets stuck on that status ( with the face of geohotz).

I tried to use the IH8Sn0W and pressing the "fix recovery mode loop". My W7 when i press the 3GS button on the "fix recovery mode loop" my laptop gets blue screen and reboots. (i have installed the libusb correctly).

I also tried to use the irecovery and when i press in the CMD irecovery -s get again blue screen my laptop and reboots.

I need to know any way for fixing the inf loop or just saving the sms file before restoring. THanks.

Are you sure it is running 3.1.3? Blackra1n should not work with that iOS version.

There are different types of bootloops and they have different solutions. So we need more details

3.1.2 or 3.1.3?
Old bootrom or new?
Jailbroken with what tool?
Are u using blacksn0w unlock?

Sorry, its 3.1.2

And i used blackrain to jailbreak it. Before i did that i upgraded through itunes so i think it must be the new bootrom.

And yes i used blacsn0w to unlock because its an ATT iphone and im in Spain.

The bootrom is hardcoded in a chip and can't be upgraded via iTunes.

Did you need to run blackra1n each time you restarted the iPhone?

No i didnt, it was one of the first 3GS so it didnt need to blackrain every time i reboot.

Try this: custom redsn0w to disable commcenter (mac only)

Don't ask for a windows solution, there are none pre-made on the net.

Otherwise, try: http://www.hackint0sh.org/f220/124913.htm and use the "run blackra1n until the battery goes flat and then iPhone boots properly" technique. The last ditch technique listed here no longer works as you need a 3.1.3 SHSH for it to work. Apple stopped issuing 3.1.3 SHSH a while ago.

Both are temporary fixes, the real solution is to get rid of blacksn0w. Do this as soon as your iPhone boots properly.

This is a command line method to remove blacksn0w. There are other ways also.. I recommend you be very careful when editing the commcenter plist.

I will try to do the blacksn0w reboot loop, but i have a doubt. It says:

UPDATE: Preferred FIX #1: (This only applies if you: ARE using an iPhone 3GS, DO NOT have a 3.1.2 SHSH on file, HAVE NOT previously upgraded to 3.1.3, and HAVE a legitimate SIM to activate with)

I remember that when i entered to cydia i pressed "make my life easier" so, does that mean that i can not use this method?
