Dont now what program was used for Unlock
Phone Specs: Iphone 3G 3.1.2 & BB 5.11.7
Question1: I can see blackra1n hence I knwo blackrain was used for jailbreak but how do I check whcih release candidate?
Question2: How do I know what was used for the unlock?
Question3: I am already jailbroken and unlocked. Should I upgrade to iTunes 9.1 or will something break?

blacksn0w (RC1) must have been used to unlock.
Does not really matter which release candidate of blackra1n was used to jailbreak. The jailbreak worked (which suggests it was not RC1 - that was very buggy on 3G iPhones)
It is perfectly safe for your jailbreak and unlock to upgrade to iTunes 9.1
Just note that iTunes does not work with blackra1n (any current version) - this is NOT a problem as you don't have to tether boot (not 3GS) so you have zero need to ever use blackra1n again (which I recommend - start using redsn0w if you ever need to jailbreak again)
The most important thing is to avoid accidentally upgrading to OS 3.1.3 or higher as that will break your unlock.
