I think I've bricked my 2g but was hoping you sages out there could work some miracles.

I bought a used iPhone and tried to jailbreak it using BlackRa1n. I updated the firmware to 3.0 using the shift button in itunes. I had to use blackra1n because the power button doesn't work and couldn't get it into dfw mode. It froze on the connect to itunes screen, so I let the battery drain and then it reset when I plugged it back in.

Like the genius I am, I attempted it again, same frozen on the connect to itunes. I let it drain the battery again, and now nothing. When I plug it in, nothing happens. Its not showing any charging screens when connected to the wall adaptor or to the computer. The computer doesn't recognize it either.

Any miracle workers out there?

Don't know why, but I borrowed a dock from a friend and I docked the phone, and boom! No more problems. Looks like I cashed in some Karama.
