Dear all,

I have a iPhone 3G which used to work fine using a quickpwn(windows) jailbreak and a redsnow unlock.

I updated to 3.1.2 using itunes by accident.

Now, the iphone shows me the activation screen 'SIM card not accepted'.

I tried going to DFU mode and restoring the custom&original firmware 3.1.2 but that didnt work. same error.

tried blackrain, but this either stops working or will send me back to the activation/dial for emergency screen.

Any ideas on how i should restore my iPhone? if necessary i can get hold of a macbook.
