Blank screen

i have an iphone 3GS 16GB ver3.1.2 and with the latest baseband. i already used blackra1n to open my iphone. while i was playing tower of madness. suddenly my iphone shut down. so when i turned it on it was on DFU mode. so i turned of my iphone untill i arrived home so i can break it with blackra1n. but suddenly my iphone was on blank screen. no apple logo comes out or on DFU mode. i cannot restore my iphone thru itunes because of im afraid to lose all the data on my iphone.

can anyone help me how i can recover all my data before i restore my iphone?

Does iTunes detect your iPhone at all?

yes. the itunes can detect my iphone. but cannot back up

Have you tried forcing it into recovery mode?

im sorry but just found out now that itunes cannot detect my iphone. i even tried hard restart. but nothing happens. pls help me olethros

Try removing and reinstalling iTunes via the following guide
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

Try with a different USB cable or USB port

Try with a different computer.

the itunes and quicktime are 1st time installed in this laptop. still cannot detect my iphone

If the screen is blank, can you tell if the iPhone is actually on? DFU mode, the screen is black but the backlight is on. When you hold down home and sleep buttons for ten seconds you should see the difference as the backlight is turned off then on again while it restarts.

Try a different cable. Try to see if the battery is completely exhausted by connecting it to a wall charger and seeing if it charges.

You want to try and eliminate causes for your problem. This is why I recommend trying a different machine, different cable etc.
