blackra1n or pwnage for factory unlocked phone?
hello
i already "applied" blackra1n on my factory unlocked iphone3GS, worked without any problems. took blackra1n simply because it takes 30 seconds, unlike pwnage which needs a restore.
is there anything i am missing because of NOT using pwnage? don't care about the baseband since the iphone is unlocked anyway. is one or the other more future proof? or is it the same once the ecid/shsh info is saved on sauriks server? is there a pwned for life for 3GS like for 2G or 3G?
thank you for any input!

Pwnage tool custom firmwares are *always* cleaner than geohot's style jailbreaks, but in this case, the only drawback that has been noted so far is that geohot's blackra1n doesn't register the afc2 service, so iPhoneBrowser / iFunBox will tell you your phone isn't jailbroken (as they don't have root filesystem access over USB). You can quickly fix this by installing afc2add from Cydia or Rock.

Blackra1n worked perfectly the first time on 3GS
After trying 5 times to get Pwnage 3.14 to work, I tried Blackra1n. It worked perfectly the first time and only took a couple of minutes. That was definitely the way to go for me!
