careful with the benM link, it will kill your visual voice mail, unless you remove the mobileconfig it installs.

I tried the commcenter hack, the BenM config, the MyWi app, and the app to hack commcenter, and the custom 6.5 ipcc from volkspost

in the end, you cant beat PDANet,

Im probably one of the few people that has tried all the different ways, take my word, or learn for yourself, its a huge waste of time and money if you dont consider PDANet

actually, i have been tethering on my 3gs factory unlocked with 3.1.2 and im not using any software. All i did was download mywi and that enabled tethering option in my network settings, i dont even need mywi now, all i do is turn tethering on from my phones settings and start tethering.
