After Blackrain the Dreaded call baring
Used the latest blackrain & snow on my iPhone 3G- (latest Apple firmware) & everything went smoothly for a month, I could use any carrier I chose. I would just buy a prepaid card, whack it in the phone & Bobs your Uncle no problems, everything worked brilliantly.
But now, all of a sudden the phone has started baring incoming & outgoing calls.
Now,, if I remove the sim & put it in another phone then put it back in the iPhone everything works again,,but only for about an hour or maybe 3 or 4 calls then it locks up again.
Dam thing is driving me crazy! I think it started straight after Cydia or Rock did an update, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
Anyone had this happen or know why this is happening?confused:
I doubt any Cydia or Rock update has caused this.

In Oz they share IMEI blocking details between all the carriers so it won't help switching carriers.
You have two options
- contact the original carrier that sold the iPhone and request the IMEI block removed
- Trade the iPhone for one from another country that does not share it's IMEI blocking database with Australia.
