I just got an iPhone 3g and it ran blackra1n on my macbook pro but when it starts up after the reboot it has no signal or wifi from t-mobile can any one help me I tried resetting the phone many times network reset, entire reset, content reset, and recover plus rejailbreak at this point I am completely lost. When I do the reset content and settings reset it starts but freezes I once waited for 5 hours and that was preaty much long enough for me and I reset it. So if anyone could help that would be awsome

Have you tried the offline blacksn0w unlock?

If your iPhone is having the latest modem firmware that is 05.11.07 version, you probably need to unlock it using blacksn0w. Refer to this step-by-step guide if you are not sure how to do it.
