XXX_OSx86_10.4.10.Intel.SSE2/SSE3
Hi, I've relased this ISO in one of the torrent sites (demon). I was doing it for my personal use but since it worked well I thought why not to share it out there... So I truly hope it works for many.
-SSE2 is supported with the 8.9.1 kernel (experimental).
-No lenguages support (only english), no printer drivers, no Xcode tools. No extra applications (download them separate).
-Uncompressed image size 1.9GB.
-This DVD was made from an original 10.4.10 iMac install DVD. Only necessary files have been patched.
-Tested on Intel SSE2 (p4 northwood) and SSE3 (p-D 925, p4 prescott) CPUs.
AMD is not supported.
Here is a screenshot with the installer features:

PPF1 fixes:
jmicron devices no recognized when booting from the DVD.
Corrupted 8.10.3 System.kext
PPF2 adds:
NVinject/ Go 0.9 drivers
NV80 (8x00 geforce) drivers
GMA900 fixer
alc 850 audio driver
marvel yukon 88E8053 Gigabit NIC driver
characterPalette.component
FrontRow+IRemulator
DictionaryFix.pkg adds the files needed for the dictionary to work properly
Iso, PPF1, PPF2 and DictionaryFix.pkg at BS.

All credits goes to Netkas, JaS, Semtex, DaemonES, Mikfi, orByte, paulicat, joblo10, omni, diabolik, Skippy, JJcool, keithpk, m.musashi and the rest of the developers and coders whose files I've included. Without their work this relase would not have been possible.
Special thanks to JaS and zef who gave me very usefull tips for the making.
All the process is documented here:

Where is it? Cant find it in demon site.
-
-
I cannot find this as well.
-
It's there on the demon and lots of seeders including myself and will be seeding this until my upload drops dramatically the next few days/weeks.
Now getting the correct combination to install on SSE2 boards are a bitch. SSE3 of course works fine.
5 installs in a row and no GUI. I used the most stable kernel for SSE2 (default), tried the other kernels, 10.4.4 and 10.4.5 loginwindow. No kernel panic with the default but it just don't get to the desktop. Well at least not in GUI desktop.
I just wanted to narrow down the hardware/kexts issues before trying to get sound, video, USB, etc to work. I'm still installing and wont stop unless we have a blackout or my computer blows up. That's all for now.
Regards,
Domino

The screenshot on the included guide (pag 5) is made from this very installer. As you see there I got it working in a P4 northwood core (SSE2). But well, not every hardware combination is the same..... Hope you get it working too.
Thanks for testing!
Tested once more:
I Installed again in my SSE2 machine just to be shure.
used installer selection:
-8.9.1 kernel Universal + patches (all 3 sub-choices selected)
-RecommendedPatches (all 3 sub-choices selected)
using only those worked for me. The machine is a Satellite A60.
Theres a lot of kernel extension dependencies missing though.....

Just one question: You say that it includes an AMD-enabled kernel but no AMD patched binaries. Does this means that it won't surely work on my AMD Athlon 3500+ based nForce4 motherboard?
Thanks in advance!

I can not say. I dont have a AMD to test. Im guessing it wont work
I thought only with the kernel would be enough but then someone point out that there were no AMD binaries included... So I took 'AMD' from the name on the torrent.
Well, this was actually a Intel only project (since I can not test AMD)...
So at this point you have to try yourself. Sorry I can not be more helpfull on this.
It might be possible to upload a ppf for AMD though, (if is not too big, and if I figure out what to patch).
Maybe some experience AMD user could drop some lines about this matter....
