Just installed OSX using the disc JaS OSx86 and I am using the fresh install at the moment.

Got a few problems the first of whic is that I do not have any sound what so ever. I've tried to play:

MP3 files
AVI files
MP4 (H264) files

But no sound what so ever.

The movie playback is glitchy as well. I can get quicktime to play my MP4 movies but again no sound. I've tried to download VLC but that does not even give me a picture let alone sound.

I've done a little searching and found an OSX Intel codec pack but I'm buggered if I know what to do with it.

I would very much appreciate some advice on getting even the smallest squeek out of my external 2.1 speakers.
