Default Screwed up my system doing an update..

    Hey guys,

I screwed up my perfect 10.5.2 system trying to update to 10.5.4. Following the stickied instructions, I saw the AppleIntelPowermngt kext come up and the system crashed to the reboot screen before I could delete it, and of course it wont boot up either. I made a copy of my extension folder and put it on my desktop, but I think all I need to do is get into the system and delete that friggin file. The question is how? I cant seem to mount the drive using a linux livecd, and I cant find a *working* mac os x dis ( I just tried kalyway 10.5.2 but that hangs when it loads my ethernet kext..)

Help!! oh and thanks in advance

I just decided I would just redo the install with an up to date server package instead - but could someone please tell me how to go about getting the extensions folder off the desktop? thx
