Default [Req] How To edit System Profiler info

    hello. quick question.
i want to try something out and edit the information that System Profiler outputs for Ram memory ( GB ) and Hard Disk capacity. I also want to be able to do something about the hard disk capacity when using the "Get Info" option directly at the macintosh hard disk ( i want to be able to edit that also -> full capacity ). can someone help ?

    thanks

Try replace your AppleSMBIOS.kext and repair permissions for kext too.

    Maybe solve your problem.

You can download some smbios in netkas.org and Mac.Nub Site's

    Hi,

    Put .kext on /System/Library/Extensions

    Open Terminal ans type

    sudo su
    (password)
    chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/(kextname.kext)
    chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/(kextname.kext)
    rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext
