Problems with Link-State of Intel Pro 1000
Hi folks, I got a little problem with my integrated network card. When I boot up, I got no network connection because Mac OS thinks that there is no cable plugged in. Ifconfig shows me media: 100baseTX <full-duplex> (<unknown type>) status: inactive . In the System Preferences in the Network Settings Mac OS also says that there is no cable plugged in. If I assign an IP address statically, ifconfig doesn't show me any ipv4 address and networking is still not working. If I switch to DHCP in the gui, I get an IP and networking works. But still ifconfig shows me that there is no cable plugged in:
en0: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,SMART,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULT ICAST> mtu 1500
inet 192.168.178.128 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.178.255
media: 100baseTX <full-duplex> (<unknown type>) status: inactive
supported media: autoselect 10baseT/UTP <half-duplex> 10baseT/UTP <full-duplex> 10baseT/UTP <full-duplex,hw-loopback> 10baseT/UTP <full-duplex,flow-control> 100baseTX <half-duplex> 100baseTX <full-duplex> 100baseTX <full-duplex,hw-loopback> 100baseTX <full-duplex,flow-control> 1000baseT <full-duplex> 1000baseT <full-duplex,hw-loopback> 1000baseT <full-duplex,flow-control>
I have already tried to set the media type manually, but it didn't take any effect. I have the problem with Semthex kernel as well as the koolkals kernel pack.
So every time I boot up my system I have to go to System Preferences, set IP to manually, have to switch back to DHCP that I get networking. Pretty ugly workaround. Does anyone know help?

When I use PS/2 keyboard + mouse everything is working. But can anyone tell me how to access the "at"-key with a PS/2-Keyboard? Now some keys seem to don't work anymore ...
I replaced my IONetworkingFamily.kext with the one in the attachement. Now the Link-State is working well.
