Problems installing osx CS3 master collection
Hi guys and gals , i'm new to this site, and to this hackintosh thing. I've owned both a pc and a mac before but now i'm finding alot of problems installing a majority of my software.
I saved a majority of my stuff on a bittorrent and can not seem to run simple applications... i was told that i needed a AppleSMBIOS.kext but i have no idea what that is?
Can anyone run me through the basic set up operations... or really any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also i guess i need to know if there is anything i should search for in paticular when getting programs is there something special needed for them to run on the hackintosh!?
Thanks for your time!

noo the installer will have all drivers and anything you need with it, thou ive no clue as to your actual problem.
why on earth would you save your stuff on bittorrent?

This is a driver which is available as patched version to enable your network device as priamry interface. This is requied by the flex licensing tool to calculate your device id for actiavtion etc. pp. On mac, the build in apple supplied interface is always primary, in your hack you don't have one so none is assigned. The patched smbios fixes this issue for you.
The AppleSMBIOS.kext is somewhat a bridge for non Apple Software which enables them to communicate with OS X system files.... If you are using OSX 10.4.8 from Jas this is not bundled in the installer. but if you are using Kalyway 10.4.10 or 10.5.1 The AppleSMBIOS.kext is already installed.
I have installed my CS3 master collection with no problems under 10.4.10 and 10.5.1... also in 10.5.2 and oh.... It is also recommended that you should have SSE3 instruction features for your intel processor... I think its present under Pentium D and up. and newer Celeron CPUs already have SSE3.
