I dunno but it happens to me once when i tried to turn it off the computer when it still booting

Press F8 when startup PC and type -v on prompt...post back text error or pic of this.

It means you're not supposed to take a bite out of the apple !

Or on a more serious note...no power off possible while booting...or you end up a corrupt hfs volume !

While running safari, the computer locks up and I get an alert that I must hold the power button down and reboot. After the reboot, I get this message:

Reg. your question:
Looks like your hfs volume is corrupt !
Try to repair the volume using disk manager. Startup using your install DVD and go into single user mode (-s). Search the forum several posts dealing with corrupt hfs volumes...

As stated in my first post, I could not start a new thread. I needed to post at least 3 times before I could start a new thread. Again my apologies, it was not an intentional hijack.

Thanks for the help, but I ended up slicking and re-installing everything.

This is a hacked or real Mac?

If hacked, what osx86 DVD version do you using there?
