Leo4All 10.5.3 upgrade failed - Should I try Kalway

First of all let me say today is my first day on "Any Mac" ..

I installed leo4all 10.5.3 and it all worked fine .. came up after boot and I played with it for a while .. and then it said it had 4 updates for to install.

So I let it kill my new machine .. now I am here trying to figure out next steps and would like some help on the following:

1. Is it sensible to get an update from Steve or get it from Torrent sites?
2. Should I be just using Leo4all 10.5.4 and figure out how to disable updates -- I don't think it's possible (unlike windows) but who knows .. I am learning
3. Should I be using kalway instead of Leo4all.

My HW. .. fresh of the mint
Intel Q Core on GA-P35-S3G with 8600GT video 2G Ram and 300G SATA drive
Used regular PC KBD/Mouse .. didn't try audio .. may be it worked :-)
Display was only 1024x768 .. but that I think is an easier problem to solve ..

Well, if you don't have advanced knowledgements about OSX, don't install updates.

Now, in your situation, reinstall entire system.

Prefeer to use Leo4All v3 or iATKOS 4, for solve video bug, looking for video card area on DVD installation and choose a driver option for your video card.
