Hello
Ive managed to install ok, but i had to use the solution someone earlier provided for the Transfer Your Settings From Another Mac problem (where you cant get past that screen) and I am now stuck on the login screen and have no username or password I can use to login. Can anyone please help me with this.

I guess you changed the "USB Legacy support" option in your Computer's BIOS.
Well i thought id fixed but it seems i was wrong :(
I have a Samsung R70 laptop which I have installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on.
Everything installs fine, but now Im stuck in the welcome screen loop and cant get past the Transfer your settings screen again.
I have tried
/sbin/fsck -fy
/sbin/mount -uw /
touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
passwd root
But that didnt work this time :(
Does anyone know what im doing wrong.

Can you use your Keyboard/mouse when running the last step of the installation (account creation part) ?
I've managed to get into os x just about, very tricky os to get my head around, sorry to keep posting and then kinda fixin it.
Dont suppose u would know how to get a Marvell Yukon Ethernet card working please? :)

EDIT - Oh actually may have that working as well now :) Thanks for your help though I do appreciate your replies, no doubt i will have more questions soon, like the video drivers... hehe.
For this question, you should search the Drivers section.
You'll have to modify a kext file (kernel extension) to add/replace your Network Card Device ID and Vendor ID.
