[Hackint0sh Support] "still waiting for root device" error, will not boot
Ok, for the time being I installed the MBR bootloader just to see if I can get my install working.
I am using the Zephyroth 10.5.2 version, since my system is an AMD.
It's a Toshiba Satellite A215-S7413 laptop.
The harddrive is SATA, but im pretty sure the dvd-rom is IDE since Ubuntu mounted it as /dev/hda.
Anyway, after installing, when I attempt to boot it just hangs at the first screen with a "NO" symbol, trying verbose mode makes it repeat the message "still waiting for root device" over and over.
MACOSX is installed on the third primary partition, its a 15.5 gig partition, located past the 120GB section of my disk but not past the 200GB section.
I want to point out that when I was attempting to use Acronis True Image 11's boot cd to image my drive, this boot disk would hang too unless I used the "acpi=off noapic" options to disable ACPI and APIC, do you think this may be related to the problem?
